Following "Hazwik" products are suitable for adsorbing: Oil and petroleum products, water, cooling aids, solvents, acids / bases, chemicals etc. (see section "Application list" ). "Hazwik" products don't float on water surface.
Note:
- Adsorption products can be fringed and do not swell. Thereby: fluid remains fluid and release of vapour still remains.
- For low viscous fluids and chemicals we advise using our Imbiber Beads absorption products.
All SPC products are available in three versions adsorbing following fluids:

Colour white; for OIL ONLY liquids. Floats on water, water repellent

Colour gray; or Universal and Chemical liquids like oils, water- based liquids, acids, solvents, bases, coolants, antifreeze

Colour green; for Chemical liquids, water and oil. The product’s green colour – the universal symbol for safety – indicates that it is intended for use on hazardous materials GREEN=SAFE.

Universal PlusTM Sorbent
 SPC Universal Plus is a specially developed chemical sorbent with properties that make it ideal for hazardous liquid cleanup. A surfactant-treated polypropylene, Universal Plus adsorbs up to 16 times its weight in chemicals, water or oil.
Versatile and cost-effective, Universal Plus can be used on a wide range of chemicals, including hydrofluoric acid. Its fast wicking action minimizes the problems of hazmat spills. And this remarkable effectiveness results in faster cleanups and reduced exposure for workers.
Universal Plus is chemically inert, so it will not react with aggressive fluids. It is certified incinerable by the Scientific Ecology Group and leaves only .02% ash. It is available in pads, rolls, booms and particulate. The product’s green color - the universal symbol for safety - indicates that it is intended for use on hazardous materials.
