Twin Boom Air filled Floaters for hose / pipe / cables !
Floating elements or just "Twin Booms" are widely used for cable support during landfall works etc but are also an alternative for very shallow water installations. It is possible to make quite some extensive installations in this way.
These types of inflatable Twin Booms provide maximum buoyancy and can be used as a hose- pipe- or cable float. The twin booms are made from strong, reinforced PVC fabric and will withstand the effects of sun, sea and oils. They are easy to handle, can be re-used many times and take minimum storage space when deflated.
Oil Control Systems have produced and delivered many thousandth of Twin Booms over the years. Each Twin Boom is divided into two sections with separate air inlets/outlets valves. The Twin Booms have a great lifting capacity and are especially handy with heavy cable constructions in shallow water environments.
